Rev. 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Many people would like you to believe that Jesus Christ was just a man, and at best a good teacher. The Bible however, is quite clear on just who Jesus Christ really is. Feast on these verses!!

John 1 -

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2. The same was in the beginning with God.

3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

10.He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 3 -

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 5 -

39. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

John 12 -

46. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

47. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

48. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Acts 4 -

10. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 10 -

13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Just in case you have not figured out who Jesus Christ is from the above scriptures, let me help you out.

Jesus Christ is God Almighty incarnate in the flesh. He came to earth to die for sinful mankind, so they would not have to spend eternity in a Lake of Fire paying for their own sins. God loves you so much that he was willing to come to this planet and pay your penalty for sin. Since God is Holy, and sin cannot abide in his presence, there had to be a penalty for sin. That penalty is eternal damnation, and separation from God in a Lake of Fire. The only one that could pay that penalty, and keep you out of Hell was Jesus Christ. Neither Buddha, Confusicious, Krishna, Mohammed, Joseph Smith or any other religious leader could take away your sin. They too are sinful and needed a redeemer.

If you want to spend eternity in Heaven, where there is no more pain, suffering, death, or sadness; call upon Jesus Christ. Repent of your sins, and ask Jesus Christ to save your soul. Trust his shed blood, to take away your sins. If on the other hand you don't want to go to Heaven . . . just keep doing what you're doing, and you will face a Holy, Righteous God at the Great White Throne judgment; and then you will be cast into the Lake of Fire where you will spend eternity in pain, suffering, torment. You'll never get out. This will be your home for the rest of eternity . . . that means FOREVER!!! All because you rejected God's only provision for staying out… his son JESUS CHRIST!!
