The Tribe Christ came through - Red representing the blood sacrifice of Christ.

Topaz - Brilliant yellow, (Topaz Means "To Seek")

Issachar (Reward)

A Cheerful People - The yellow may represent cheerfulness, having received a reward after diligent seeking.

Carbuncle - A glittering jewel, Color unknown

Zebulun - (Dwelling)

Served as a haven for ships (Gen. 49:13) The tribe perhaps served the same purpose as harbor lights today.

Emerald - Sea Green

Ruben - (See a Son)

Like the troubled sea - unstable, very sinful.

Sapphire - 2nd hardest stone

Simeon - (Hearing)

Hard and Ruthless

Diamond - Hardest of all stones

Gad - (A Troop)

Great Warriors (1 Chron. 5:18)

Ligure - Characteristics Obscure

Ephraim - (Very Fruitful)

Youngest son of Joseph

Agate - Reflects its beauty only when split. A semi-translucent compound mineral.

Manasseh - (Forgetting)

The Tribe of Manasseh was divided, the oldest son of Joseph.

Amethyst - Purple

Benjamin - (Son of my right hand)

The Smallest Tribe. A Warring Tribe. Christ is the son of the Father's right hand.

Beryl - To break or subdue

Dan - (Judge)

Led Israel into Idolatry - (Judges 17:30-31)

Onyx - Fire-like, very brilliant and very precious.

Asher - (Blessed)

Jasper - Clear as Crystal, sometime bright yellow.

Naphtali - (My Wrestlings)

Freedom-Loving - (Gen. 49:21)
